And so it begins......

Interesting piece in the Telegraph 19th January.......

For those of you who thought my rantings about the EU these last couple of years and especially about the powers The Lisbon Treaty confers on the EU were borne from delusion or senility then read this

Lord Justice Moses said that he was powerless to block another court's decision to send Garry Mann to serve the sentence in a Portuguese jail because of fast-track extradition rules under the EU arrest warrant but suggested that the Government or European Court of Human Rights should step in. (I said before this was our supreme court, not the Jack Straw creation of last year)

So there you have it! The EU exercising its powers despite what Lord Justice Moses, sitting in London with Mr Justice Hickinbottom, said that Mr Mann was the victim of “what appears to be a serious injustice”.

British High Court Judges can no longer protect British citizens who travel within the 27 member states of the EU.

Holiday at Butlins this year instead methinks!
